The<\/span> Order of Malta 39<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span> 2024<\/span> International<\/span> Summer Camp will be held in Fiesch, Switzerland and the 2025 camp will be held in The Netherlands.<\/span><\/p>\n It is a dream for most young handicapped, fighting their physical disabilities and other difficulties, to have one carefree and happy summer week with other young people. This new scholarship initiative will<\/span> provide needed financial support and mentoring for a<\/span>t <\/span>least<\/span> 1<\/span>2<\/span> talented young musicians attending high school at a city away from their home.<\/span><\/p>\n The Symphony Program started eleven years ag<\/span>o and now engages over a thousand <\/span>children<\/span> across<\/span> Hungary,<\/span> not<\/span> only<\/span> building<\/span> musical-,<\/span> but<\/span> also<\/span>\u00a0social<\/span> and <\/span>com<\/span>munication skills.<\/span> The most talented<\/span> high school students<\/span> are to be chosen for this <\/span>scholarship program.<\/span> These<\/span> children<\/span> would not be able to continue their<\/span> musical <\/span>studies<\/span> with<\/span>out<\/span> this support.<\/span> The program<\/span> provides a<\/span>n en<\/span>couraging<\/span> envir<\/span>on<\/span>ment<\/span> for <\/span>students who are from<\/span> the<\/span> Hungary\u2019s<\/span> most<\/span> disadvantaged<\/span> regions<\/span>.<\/span> Participating <\/span>students<\/span> would<\/span> also<\/span> s<\/span>et examples for younger<\/span> musicians<\/span>.<\/span> Th<\/span>is will<\/span> enable students to <\/span>at least<\/span> have the financial means to<\/span> pay for some of<\/span> their bas<\/span>ic needs<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n Donations will support<\/span> a monthly scholarship of around 35,000 Ft<\/span> per month<\/span> per student<\/span> per\u00a0year<\/span> for<\/span> 1<\/span>2 to 15<\/span> participants<\/span>. The<\/span> annual<\/span> budget<\/span> is<\/span> about<\/span> 7<\/span> million<\/span> Ft<\/span>, <\/span>includ<\/span>ing<\/span> some mentoring and other costs<\/span>,<\/span> or a<\/span>n annual<\/span> cost per<\/span> student<\/span> of<\/span> around <\/span>6<\/span>00<\/span>,000 Ft.
